If anyone is interested in how they came come across me the easiest way to find me is at the Marietta Artists Market.
It isn’t a large get together (maybe 30 artists or so), but it is something that has been consistently pleasant for me to be a part of. I’ve enjoyed being able to meet the same people over and over and get my product out there. This festival takes place the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month between April and November.
Most festivals runs from 10am to 6 pm, but this festival operates differently. The hours are from 9am to 2 pm, which sometimes surprises customers because they are surprised to see us packing up our things at 2 pm. There is a farmer’s market that is also taking place at the same time, but they close down an hour before we do (I think it is so that there aren’t so many venders trying to pack up and leave at once).
It’s a great little market for me to be in and I find that I enjoy it quit a bit. It isn’t a lucrative adventure but I always make a little money. Since it runs for so many months I almost feel like it’s my own little store front. The only time I am not doing the Marietta Artists Market is when I am at a larger show. I was at the Roswell Art Festival one weekend last year instead of the Marietta Artists Market.
If you ever want to catch me to have a talk about any of my work you can plan on being at the Marietta Artists Market. See the link below for more information.
