Sunset with Trees
This piece is unique from my other work because I did it in oil. When I was moving around a lot in college painting with oil wasn’t much of an option for me. I have started to work more and more with the medium. People have sometimes asked me which is more difficult, oil or acrylic? I always say that they are hard to choose from. With oil there is a lot, forgiving dry time which you can work with. With acrylic, time is limited so you can’t afford to not have an idea of what you are going to do before you do it.
