This mixed media piece was something I created to try to capture the feeling I had when I wanted to be alone, but not because of any harrowing thoughts. The tree in the center is made of newsprint I carefully cut and painted around, representing a calm growth of thoughts. The ocean drifts and pours away. Sometimes you just want to be alone with your thoughts.
