Meteor Shower Series: A Forest of Light

This is another piece which belongs to my “Meteor Shower” series. Unlike all of the other ones I have done, this is not on a stretched gallery-wrapped canvas. I completed this piece on a cut of primed canvas that I hae matted and laying flat in a frame. I am not sure if I want to keep that setup for it or not, but I was experimenting with the presentation of my work. I was wondering if a dark mat on the outside would give some “quiet” to the image before the viewer sees all the shiny texture.
