One day while flipping through images of my childhood I saw a lighthouse. I don’t know what compelled me to take a picture of it when I was eleven, but the same thing compelled me to paint it when I was twenty-seven. I’m not particularly fond of lighthouses, but this painting was a relaxing thing to create.
