Ferris Wheel in the Rain

For this piece I did a layer of sand with a light mixture of white and yellow. Then I got started on the ferris wheel!
I have always enjoyed carnivals and how they look. They can be happy and full of promise or they can be derelict, creepy, and sort of reminiscent of something lost. Here, I have taken the carnival and I have made it grow, spiral and become something a little more alive than an inanimate object should be.
I now have the image of this piece professionally captured and am now offering prints of this piece. The original is still available for purchase.
